14th Nov’19- Beautiful moments

What a day, completely amazing!

A 7am pickup and off to see the Salts flats and flamingo filled Lagoons.

It was a long 13hr day but the scenery was like nothing I had ever seen

And it just got better and better

I was driven to places almost 4,300 mtrs above sea level and witnessed landscapes I couldn’t even imagine.

The only down side of going on a tour bus was that I didn’t get as long as I would have liked to compose my images but on the other hand, I was on my own and would never have had the opportunity to witness such awesome sights.

I’m sure I have mentioned in previous posts, my camera is new and I’m not quite competent in how it works. Well this afternoon it was to prove the point of knowing your equipment.

I went to the flamingo infested lagoons where the photo opportunities were endless and my card was full and I had no idea how to swap it to slot 2 – the more I fiddled the more anxious I became as I was on a tight schedule. In the end I had to just accept I had made a grave error and one that I would rectify when I got back to my hotel.

On the way home we stopped to look at some llamas but I’m all done with these creatures and I’d no have rather gone straight back. But I did get a quaint photo of a nun passing the little church in the square

It was a rush for dinner as my table was booked for 8:30 and I didn’t arrive back till just after 8pm.

But I made it. Light food (broiled chicken and veg), a glass of my favourite wine (Quintay Sauvignon Blanc Gran Reserve) and I proceeded to indulge.

Mmmm

Another 05:30 start tomorrow for what will hopefully be the cherry on the cake. So two glasses from the bottle was enough.

Nite 😘
